After my
husband and I got married, I decided to go to
college for a degree in computers. This was a
hard move, because within our first year of
marriage we were expecting our first baby. I
spent many nights sitting on the edge of our bed
coding programs. I stayed on the deans list, and
enjoyed computers, but it just didn't excite me
the way graphic art has.
I took Graphic Art
as an elective, and I have been hooked ever
since. I was so hooked that I started a
certificate program in media arts until I could
afford to start to work on a degree in Graphic
Design. I worked in the computer field for
the public school system for 3 years, and
decided that my place was at home with our
children. I am now a work-at-home mom, and I
homeschool three of our four children.
The Lord has
richly blessed me with many opportunities to design for
many different companies, and I have grown with
each one. I feel that you NEVER stop
learning. Life is a learning experience,
and as long as you live you are learning and
growing.
